Are you new to the NFL?
Were you invited to join a fantasy football league but you do not know the first thing about American Football? If you are like me, this was your introduction to the NFL.
It will not be long before you get asked the age old question: “So, who do you support?”
For me, it all started in 2015. I chose the Buffalo Bills because it seemed to make sense.
I had been a long-time ice hockey fan and supported the Buffalo Sabres in the National Hockey League for a number of years. This was the logical decision.
Too easy right? Being young and foolish at the time, I thought it might be fun to allow my girlfriend to choose my team for me.
Based on logos alone – and maybe some input from Ace Ventura – the Miami Dolphins were selected.
I quickly aborted that plan and found myself doubling down on Buffalo. Over time I have come to realise the reasons why this decision was such a good one.
So I put it to you, dear reader, allow me to convince you to turn your allegiance to Buffalo also.

Where do I start with this bunch?
There is a crazy side – jumping from a height through tables at tailgate parties.
Or there is the charitable side – donating a combined $415,000 to the charity of then Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton as a thank you to him for helping the Bills reach the playoffs for the first time in 17 seasons.
As fanbases go, they are passionate and fully committed to their team and a credit to the city of Buffalo.

The Bills quarterback is the face of the franchise and will be for the foreseeable future.
He epitomises the city of Buffalo with his style of play, gunslinging his way into the hearts of viewers.
If you are also a fan of an antagonist then look no further – as his peers in the league often vote him into the top five trash talkers.
- The 1990’s heartbreak
The 90s are back baby! Cargo pants, Oasis on tour and the Buffalo Bills winning football games.
The Buffalo Bills made four Super Bowls during the 1990s, losing each and every one of them. Some were in truly heart breaking fashion – “wide right” still gets me.
Among those Super Bowls, however, were some truly sensational characters playing some phenomenal football.
