The Philadelphia Eagles were put to the sword by Kansas City in Super Bowl LVII despite their star quarterback putting in a heroic display – contributing 374 yards and four touchdowns.

Eagles fans and players had to watch on in disappointment and envy as Patrick Mahomes lifted to trophy.

A sickening spiral began as next years campaign was a torrid, turbulent journey that left an entire fanbase wondering if it was time for a total reset.

Despite the noise, the 26 year-old’s self-confidence never wavered – Hurts would take Philadelphia back to the promised land.
