Hi, my name is Philip Marsh

I am a freelance sports journalist and broadcaster born in Cardiff, South Wales. I have been working in the world of sport for almost a decade, covering a huge variety of sports across several countries.

The passion for the NFL was born at university, and - I think - like a lot of UK fans my first introduction to the sport was through fantasy football.

And from there it grew. One league became 10 leagues, no jerseys became a closet-full, and no understanding has developed into a deep passion and knowledge of the sport.

It is not my only love - as the selection of stories below will prove - but it is the one which has sparked the passion to write more and create a community of like-minded people.
