Jaguars turning a new leaf for 2025

Time to finish on a high.

Last week, the Jacksonville Jaguars continued their dismal run of form losing yet again by one score to the Las Vegas Raiders.

The writing has been on the wall for this season for a while now. Even though the Jags have started to play better, the one-score losing streak continues.

With the last two games of 2024 being against division opponents, at the very least, this is a good opportunity for them to showcase how much potential they have as a football team.

Towards the tail end of the season, injuries have started to mount up and the absence of Trevor Lawrence and Evan Engram is palpable.

No game within the AFC South is easy for the Jags but a good fight between divisional rivals sounds like the best way to sign off a gruelling season.

Up first is the Tennessee Titans, who hold an identical record. We beat them in a low scoring match-up earlier this month and we will be hoping to make it the double over them to retain bragging rights.

Once again, it will be up to Mac Jones to step up as our starting quarterback to run the offense and establish his presence within the backfield.

He will have to be even more aware of the pocket when the ball is snapped due to the missing Walker Little – unavailable with an ankle injury.

Once this match-up is settled, we finish our season on the road against the Colts and this could hold significance.

The Colts still have an outside chance of the playoffs if they win against the New York Giants and the Jags.

Could the Jags end the playoff dreams of the Colts? It would be a satisfying end to an otherwise unremarkable season.
