The reigning MVP has won the Player of the Week award – again!
It is the 11th time that Lamar Jackson has won the award. Since he joined the NFL back in 2018, only Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has won more.
This time, Jackson wins the award for his performance against the Cincinnati Bengals. It was the best game of Week 5, which ended in a 41-38 overtime win for the Ravens.
Jackson threw for 348 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions , he also added 55 rushing yards.
In doing so, Jackson became the first player in NFL history with multiple career games with at least 300 passing yards, 50 rushing yards and four touchdown passes.
Defense – Pat Surtain II

The Denver Broncos defense had a game to remember against AFC West rivals Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
The highlight play came with the Raiders on 1st & Goal from the Broncos five-yard line.
At the time it was a chance for the Raiders to extend their 10-3 lead, but the Broncos had other ideas.
Instead the play turned into an 100-yard Pick-Six for Surtain, who in doing so became the first player to reach 20+ mph on a Pick-Six this season – according to Next Gen Stats.
In total, Surtain caught two interceptions and made three tackles against the Raiders.
He joins Justin Simmons and Aqib Talib as the only Broncos defensive backs to win the ‘Player of the Week’ award multiple times.
Special Teams – Ka’imi Fairbairn

“Clutch City” was the commentary as Ka’imi Fairbairn kicked the winning field goal against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
It was another of Week 5’s best games, with the Houston Texans moving to 4-1 as a result of Fairbairn’s 59-yard winning field goal.
That kick was Fairbairn’s second successful 50+ yard kick of the game, as he made both extra points and all three field goals.
Fairbairn also picked up the award in Week 2 of this season, moving him up to four ‘Player of the Week’ awards – the most ever by a Houston kicker.
