It is time for trip down memory lane as the resounding silence continues during the NFL offseason.

Philadelphia has swindled some legendary draft picks over the years, but these three players are the cream of the crop.

#3 Jason Kelce – 2011: 6th round, 191st pick

Hindsight is a beautiful concept that was invented to allow us to rue the bizarre decisions we make as human beings.

NFL franchises must look back and ponder how this future Hall of Famer fell to such depths in the 2011 draft class.

Not only did Jason Kelce achieve eternal glory in 2018 by winning Super Bowl LII with the Philadelphia Eagles but he stole the hearts of a fanbase that can be a tough cookie to crack.

Kelce was renowned for his grit, determination and psychopathic blocking ability – hunting down many defensive linemen and devouring them before they had chance to make a tackle.

After retiring before the start of the 2024 season, experts and fans alike were sceptical if such an incredible talent could ever be replaced.

#2 Jalen Hurts – 2020: 2nd round, 53rd pick

Another Super Bowl champion that was overlooked by NFL franchises and still to this day Jalen Hurts’ credentials are questioned.

Despite what other fanbases may suggest, quarterbacks do not get much better than Hurts – leading the Eagles to two Super Bowls over an ongoing five year career.

The reason the Oklahoma graduate trumps so many Philadelphia legends is simple, Jalen Hurts was perfectly sculpted for this offense.

A dual-threat quarterback who has exhibited a winning attitude throughout his career – chalking up 46 wins since becoming a starter.

#1 Brandon Graham – 2010: 1st round, 13th pick

The man, the myth, the legend – Brandon Graham led the Eagles to two Super Bowl triumphs during an illustrious career that spanned over 15 years.

As the longest-ever serving Eagle, it would be impossible not to hand Graham the number one spot.

In addition to the miracles the Philadelphia icon performed on the pitch, it is the work for charity that he partakes in that will cement his lasting legacy in the city – promoting the fantastic Brandon Graham Foundation and the Eagles Autism Foundation.

Racking up 485 tackles over his career, the defensive end epitomised everything the City of Philadelphia years for in an athlete and will be forever remembered as one of the greatest ever players who stepped foot on the Lincoln Financial Field.
